Step 1. Click ‘Register your charity’
Step 2. Select ‘Country’
Step 3. Enter your charity registration number if UK Charity.
(If you are a non-UK Charity jump to Step 5a.)
Step 4. Click ‘Get info’ if UK Charity
Your page will start loading and search for and retrieve the latest information on charities in England and Wales that is currently displayed on the Register of Charities.
Step 5. Check the following details are correct.
Charity Name
Address
Town
Postcode
If correct click ‘Register’
If the details are incorrect ‘Add Manually’ and click ‘Register’
Step 5a: Enter your charity name and registration number and click ‘Register’ (For non- UK Charities)
Step 6. Add the main admin user details, first name, last name, email and contact number and click ‘Add’*
Step 7. Enter your password and confirm the same password. At least 1 upper case, numeric, and special character and then click ‘Save’
Step 8. Check your email for the ‘Login Token’ and copy and paste login token and click ‘Submit’
Step 9. Click Edit Update Charity Page. Add your details, save & view changes.
Step 10. Click Edit Setup Payment Gateways. Add your company details, review & click done.
Enter Business details and click ‘Continue’
Legal Business Name
Enter your legal business name shown on charities commission or companies house.
Companies House Registration Number or Charity Registration Number
Enter your Companies House Registration Number. Search on Companies House. If you are not registered with companies’ house. Enter your charity registration number.
Registered Business Address
Enter your registered business address shown on charities commission or companies house.
Industry
Select the one that matches your charity. Example Membership Organisations - charities or social services organisation.
Step 11. Enter Business representative details and click ‘Continue’
Enter details of (1) trustee or director.
Step 12. Click ‘Add a director’ you will be given the option to select (1) trustee or director you entered previously and click ‘Continue’
Step 13. Check all the details are correct on the Verification summary and click ‘Done’. You will be redirected back to the main dashboard.
Step 14. Click ‘Setup Bank’ on Setup Payment Gateway. To provide bank details.
Step 15. Enter (1) bank account name, routing number (sort code), and account number and click ‘Submit’
Additional Information
In some instances, we may require you to upload your trustee or director front and back driving licence or proof of ID and address and a copy of the bank statement to carry out additional checks. You will be notified if we require additional information.
Step 16. Click ‘Submit for Approval’
Click Submit for approval at the top page to complete the verification. Once approved you will receive an email.
You have now completed the verification process. You will get an email response within 24 hours to confirm your account is live on MuslimGiving.
Once verified you will see on your dashboard ‘Approved’
You will receive a welcome email once verified.
